Antique Skateshop opening and MUDo Issue III release party

Hey if your in Ottawa on March 10th, at 7PM go check out the GRAND opening party for the new Antique Skateshop at 9 Florence St. Apparently there will be coffee and the release of MUDo Zines third issue! MUDo Zine is an awesome publication by friend and fellow Scotsman (although he is way more Scottish then me on account of being born there and all) Laurence Gillespie who is also a scientist that can feeble to fakie better then most people who aren't scientists. Dick Jokes 1.1 will also be there depending on how fast Canada Post drives to Ottawa. There will only be 20 copies there on account of me running out earlier tonight. But yeah check it out, these dudes are doing great things in our nations capital. Too bad we can't say the same of this guy.

Canadian skateboarding. Yes. When I see this video I think of high school and the hours I spent watching this video. First time I ever saw Ted De Gros' super tech super laid back style: ref. (3:02 shiiiit). Big spin front nose, full cab heel flips in 2002 and the first drum track that is actually tolerable, if not fitting for a skate part. Keegan Sauder's intro is probably the reason why I spent all my money on a motorbike and his proficiency skating Hastings is why I wish I could skate bowls now. Always liked the nollie at 1:31 and any part with a Rick McCrank cameo is worth a watch. And lets not forget about the Beaver. What's more Canadian then a giant beaver buying a skateboard with a bag full of loonies and toonies?  Not a whole hell of a lot.
